To access this demon door you will need to have two things:

1. Upgrade your weapon skill (melee or ranged) to level 5
2. Upgrade any of one of your legendary weapons with the three gems it offers.

Then simply show him your weapon. This treasure chest gives you a Military suit and some "summon creatures" potions.
