Cheat Title: All 12 Hidden Yashichi (credit: Energy Resurrected) Game Title: Bionic Commando Rearmed
Platform: PlayStation 3
Area 01
First to keep any enemy bullets from interrupting your swinging, you'll need to dispatch all of the soldiers both on the ground and on the first set of ledges around the second building from the start of the stage. From that point, continue right heading right, grappling when necessary. To get enough momentum to clear one of the longer gaps and catch onto the light, you may want to start away from the water's edge. Once you pass that one, the rest of the swinging to the Yashichi is pretty basic.
Area 02
Go in the building and head right. Drop into the first pit you come to, but before plummeting to your death, quickly grapple the ceiling. A few swings should get you clear of the pit, allowing you to head right to the elevator. Take it up one floor for you Yashichi reward.
Area 03
First, make your way to the communications room. Continue right, grappling across the ceiling as necessary. When you get far enough to the right, there should be a section of ceiling that will allow you to pull yourself up. You'll see two elevators that allow you to take the easy up the rest of the room and the Yashichi is waiting at the top.
Area 04
Tarzan across the spikes at the start of the stage, go up, then head as far left as you can go. You should find a wall with a tiny crack in the top. You can blow up the wall using either your grenades or bazooka, which will open up the path to the left. Clear the spikes, work your way up the colorful ceiling platforms. To the right you'll find one last series of spikes to get across before you can get to this Yashichi.
Area 05
Find the building emblazoned with a hardhat picture (around the bottom of the tower). Swing to the right from the top of this building, and try to grab onto the ledge just below the blue barrel. Keep holding right to launch yourself over to the top of the crate that presented a roadblock to your progress before. You'll find the Yashichi resting on a platform nearby.
Area 06
From the top of the level you should find a line-up of lampposts that look perfect for swinging across. The first one shouldn't be a problem, but you'll need to grab the next lamp on the right side. Initially, you'll probably grab the left, so just pull yourself up after grabbing it, slide off the left side, and grapple onto the right side while falling. Reel up again so you can fall off on the right side and grab the third and final lamppost. Pull yourself up one last time and grapple the ledge to your left. You'll find the Yashichi to the left, after you pull yourself up.
Area 07
You'll have to make it all the way to the entrance to the boss' chamber. Go right from the door and you'll discover a platform set over an empty pit. Drop off the right of the platform, and then grab it as your falling. You'll want to swing to the left, but not so much that you'll wind up back on the platform. In your free fall, you'll find an alcove set into the left wall. Grapple the ceiling as you fall past to get in and grab the Yashichi. If you miss it on your first attempt, you won't die, but you will have to trek all the way back around.
Area 08
Take the elevator up next the boss' chamber. You'll see a platform to the right. Head onto it, and grapple onto the ceiling just to the right of the gap. Start swinging and use your momentum to carry you left. At the top of your flight, shoot your grappling arm straight up. You should grab an off-screen ledge, where you'll find the Yashichi hiding.
Area 09
Take the steps up to the long drop. While in free-fall, you should see a passage to the left. Just grapple on the ceiling as you pass by to get in. However, if you miss you won't get a second chance, so you'll have to call for an extraction to try again. Once in, go left and drop down the next pit. You'll find a locked door that'll you come back to later. For now, just head right. Use your grappling arm to throw open the door in your way and continue through the level as usual until you get to the conveyor belts.
Before moving up the belts, go all the way left. You'll find a blue switch right in front of you and, one above that. The switches are on every level of the conveyor belt, and to unlock the door you found before, you'll have to hit all of them. Just make your way up, shooting all the switches, and after hitting the last one at the top, you can go back to the now-unlocked door at the beginning of the stage. Opening it, you'll find a room with a patiently waiting Yashichi.
Area 10
Go through the level all the way past the platform the ferries you across the spike pit. Fall down the shaft with the mini-tanks waiting at the bottom and take them all out. Heading right, you'll find a very low, spiked ceiling. The only way to get through is to walk right up to the edge of the ceiling, turn around, duck, equip your shotgun, and start firing. Little by little you'll make your way through, just stay ducked and keep firing. You'll find the Yashichi out in the open for the taking.
Area 11
Make your way to the communications room. From there, go left until you find a crate blocking your progress. Grapple just above it so you can get on top of the crate. Grab the ceiling and swing over to the left. At the top of your swing, you can grab the circular object right above you. Then just pull yourself up, and as you start to fall, grapple up again and grab the next circle above you. To make it up, you'll need to grab the left side of each object, so if you grab the right side, just pull yourself up, fall off, and grab the left side as you're dropping.
After making it to the third circle, you'll find a ledge to your right. You can take a second to rest, since from here it just a long series of grappling swings along the left-side ceiling to the Yashichi.
Area 12
Head down the elevator and enter the door immediately to your left. Battle through to the left and head up the platforms you find. You find a ceiling that gently slopes up to the right. All you have to do is swing and grapple your way over to the final Yashichi.
